- About Me:
- An Open Source Advocate, Entrepreneur, Musician, and Ham Radio Operator (N3GBZ), my primary goal in social networking is to promote, encourage and assist in the adoption of Free/Libre Open Source Software technology in schools, homes and the marketplace.
Most of my adult working career was spent as a Software Engineer with a large computer manufacturer (one of the dwarfs back in the days of IBM and the seven dwarfs) but my job was outsourced and the company rightsized me out the door!
More recently I have been working with technology and training as well as marketing Watkins Products.

Getting Started
New to the area and relishing the beach bum lifestyle, at least, temporarily, I have only been to downtown Jacksonville once. I do cross the ditch a few times each week tho. (For non-locals, the ditch is the InrraCoastal Waterway which separates Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach.)
