Why Should You Blog?
Some people blog to make money. Some bloggers write about their life experiences or career experiences. Many bloggers blog for the sheer joy of blogging. I am in the last group. You never know though, your blog may be the next big thing on the Internet.
One great thing about the social media today is that you can meet and network with so many people online. You guest blog, and writers may even guest blog on YOUR blog! I've met a few people on FriendFeed, for example. I have discovered many an interesting blog on MyBlogLog.
By commenting on different blogs, you can interact with many different kinds of writers and in the process, you'll find a lot of interesting blogs.

I can think of two really important reasons to blog right away.
1. If you blog, then you will read other peoples' blogs. Which will only make you smarter.
2. Blogging can build your own influence on the Internet
