I am thankful for many blessings and (oddly) for some trials:

Thankful for a loving wife and extended family. Thankful for the gift of wonderful children. Thankful for our very special grandchildren.

Thankful for the gift of freedom, freedom unmerited, freedom unearned, freedom dearly paid for on my behalf and yours, and freely given to me and to all who come to the One who paid the ransom.

I am not unmindful nor untouched by hurts and pain, and the disappointments and sufferings - in this world.
I am hopeful that I have been, that I am, and will be a good neighbour rather than being concerned about who is my neighbour.

My wife says I am positive and optimistic. I am thankful for her support, for the joy of her friendhip and her love.

I thank God that He first loved me so that I might, through Him, show some measure of His love to others.
