Hi Kathy,

I am sorry we have not been able to connect. I know you are VERY busy so to save you time I am sending you this information ahead of any conversation while this special last until June 1st.

To get your message effectively to the California Market please see the attachment on a $99.00 business listing special. We will write a professional blog and place it strategically across the country and put a banner ad for the listing on our community websites. Here is the website I would like to place you in http://www.myocgrapevine.com and you can see a video of what someone in my network did for me (Sharon Eme – iCommercials.Net_ at

Hi Kathy, Thanks for your reply. Sure, you can call me Phoenix2Life. :D)

The originator of "Facebook Business tools" has other websites which are kind of pyramid schems. ;) Also most of the deep links on FaveBookbusinessTools website wraps itself with URL www.facebookbusinesstools.com but shows the Wikipedia page. You definitely have great observation of those negative aspect and quick to assert it. Kind of scary for social visitors. Also there is big no-no from Google as well as other internet search engine for such dark practices.
to hide or to wrap url and display another page.

Anyway, apart from that group and website, as such Facebook as a social platform could be used for brand evangalism as well as product/deals/coupons etc marketing as well as advertising. Also together with Twitter, Facebook can be pushed in very interesting direction.

I agree with you about keeping up with all the new development on web 2.0 and emerging trends in social engineering technologies and its impact on the way humans interact online. :D) But at the end when dust settles down I envision more inter-connected group with special inner circles with outer boundaries of communication and online trust interaction. Plus great networking and more access to local details at global level. Making all of us smarter and in process letting away lots of privacy and individual personas. :D)

Welcome to Snellville, Georgia. After reading your message I too got couple of chuckles.

I would also share any interesting information about Facebook as well as twitter and other platforms from business point of view with you.

BTW. if you are interested in SEO and SEM, there is a small group here "SEO, Website Analysis and Analytics" which would grow eventually, you may like to join

Enjoy,,,

Hi Kathy. Thanks for the comment. I worked in Marketing with High Tech companies and the tendency was to lose sight of the customer in favour of all the bells and whistles of the products they had created. I believe that marketing starts with a compelling story aimed at the people your connecting with. To me the best marketing is when your not aware it's marketing at all but a natural dialogue between two equals. All to often it developed into a feature, for the sake of it, driven push.

Do you know, thats the first time I have ever articulated that. Many thanks for making me really think about that one. You said that your customers were small. In my experience it's the small to medium size business's that are the most exciting and dynamic. I always liked working with them as you could really work well together and create something really meaningful. I would be interested in hereing more about your experiences.
Take care

Computer & Information Technology. Sounds kinda crazy to be studying that when I do it for a living. I'm actually finishing a degree that I started many years ago and with my experience it just made sense.

This is about your comments on http://www.facebookbusinesssolutions.com group and I have the exact same surprise which is expressed by you. Interestingly links are pointing to wikipedia. Also those apps which has been shown does not seem to have business value or will not stir any business incentive out of it.

Looking from different angle though to use Facebook as platform to launch social marketing campaign as well as branding efforts would be an excellent idea.

Thanks,

Hi Kathy. At the moment I am finishing the final proof reading on my first which should be available in the shops from early next year. I would say that it sits somewhere between Nick Hornby & Ian McKewan.
Social media is becoming a bit of a passion of mine. I am interested to see how it develops and what marketers can bring to the party. I am a classically trained marketer myself who became rather disallushioned with what it was becoming. I think that social media will force marketing to return to people and there stories and that is exciting .

Hope to catch up soon. Back to my reading lamp and red pen for a few hours. :)Take care
