- About Me:
- My name is Ian Campbell, President of Score Consulting. I started Score Consulting in Rochester, NY in 2003 to help small businesses more effectively market themselves, both locally and nation-wide.
The company began in an economic environment similar to today’s — with the local economy on a steady decline and many companies laying people off in masses. We saw a large trend of start-up companies headed by experts in their field that needed help bringing their products, services and messages to the public — and that’s where I stepped in.
I worked with a variety of companies to help them develop their go-to-market strategies, their business start-ups and their marketing and business development strategies. Working with clients such as CampbellNet Solutions and Auto Buyers Network, I helped to build these businesses from the ground up.
While I enjoyed my time in Rochester, and loved the work I was doing, the weather finally got to be too much for me, and I decided to move to San Diego in January of 2008. While I still worked with a majority of my clients — managing their traditional marketing efforts — I decided it would be a good time to do some work with a local company in order to network locally and to get a feel for the landscape.
I spent a year working with a local Internet development and marketing company and increased my expertise in Internet marketing. Ultimately, I folded that experience into the service offerings of Score Consulting.
While I enjoyed working with the wonderful people at my new company, I decided it was once again time to work directly with businesses leaders in order to help them develop their businesses.
In January of 2009, I made the move to step back out on my own and reignite Score Consulting, and I remain committed to the same level of service I’ve always provided.
